DENTAL CLINIC
Did you know? Many people think Dairy products have more fat in them than
they actually do eg. Normal Homogenised milk 3.3% fat, fruit yogurt has
less 2%. That’s the same amount of fat you’ll find in bread.
Milk is a valuable source of calcium you need to build strong teeth and
bones needed for every day living.

ABSENT CHILDREN
It is the parents/caregivers responsibility to contact the school if your
child or children are absent from school. A phone call is all it takes
phone 439 7255.
LIBRARY
Many thanks to Debbie Robinson and Joanne Nichols for all their help during
bookweek and also to the many parents and grandparents who donated books
to the Library. A total of 180 books were sold.
SCHOOL HOURS
We have noticed that a number of children have been arriving late to school.
School commences at 8.50am and children are required to be at school by
then unless other arrangements have been made eg. Music lessons etc. This
is particularly important for senior pupils who may be involved with a
responsibility like road patrol which commences at 8.30am and pupil council
responsibility. Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
PTA SAUSAGE SIZZLE
As this is the last sausage sizzle of the year we would like to acknowledge
the many people who have supported this successful fundraiser. Our thanks
goes to teachers and office staff for co-ordinating orders. Mr Stringer
for ensuring the BBQ was fueled and ready to go, the special needs team
for serving, the many parents who volunteered their time to cook and of
course our customers—DPS children and their families who have consistently
supported us. Thank you everyone for your great service, we estimate about
$1000 profit has been raised. Apologies to those families which missed
out on drinks and sausages on Parade Day.
ADDRESS & PHONE NUMBERS
Please ensure we have any updates on new addresses and phone numbers also
mobile phones. It can be very frustrating trying to get hold of people
when it is necessary for a sick child to go home.
