DENTAL CLINIC
Did you know? Eating cheese or drinking milk at the end of a meal helps
protect your teeth. It’s a great idea when you can’t brush
after eating, like when you've eaten a little snack or when your at school.
Please ensure all dental forms are returned to school.

BOOKWEEK DETAILS
GRANDPARENTS DAY
THURSDAY 11 SEPTEMBER
We know that grandparents are very interested in the education of their
grandchildren and many would like the opportunity to visit the school
- well here is that opportunity. On Thursday of Book Week we are setting
aside a special time especially for grandparents (and GREAT GRANDPARENTS
too) to be with their children at school.
For those children who do not have a grandparent who lives locally or
who is able to attend we suggest that they invite an older person to visit
them at school - perhaps an aunt, uncle, a friend or a neighbour.
We suggest that grandparents arrive at school after morning play (10.45am),
spend some time in the classroom and then tour the school to see other
classrooms and displays. Perhaps even stay and have lunch with their grandchildren
(tea and coffee will be available in the Staffroom).
DRESS-UP DAY PARADE
FRIDAY 12 SEPTEMBER
STARTS AT 11.00AM
After the parade, at lunchtime, the PTA will be holding a sausage sizzle
for children and their families. $1.00 per sausage plus bread and sauce.
They will also be selling drinks for $1.00
COME ALONG AND ENJOY THE FUN!!!
BOOK DISPLAY
Don't forget to visit the Book Display. Even if you can't make it during
school hours, let me know and I’ll be pleased to show you through.
Thanking you
Janice McLean
