DPS TALENT QUEST
The Dargaville Primary Multi Culture Group is taking auditions for a “Talent

Be part of this fantastic opportunity. Final Concert will be held in

BOARD & STAFF MEMBER PROFILES
Each week we will be profiling our staff and board members.
This week we introduce to you:
Louise works in the school office part time on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.
She is the school co-ordinator for all the netball teams, and she helps
co– coach one of our Std 4 teams as well as playing indoor netball.
Trish is classroom teacher in Room 5 and is the Senior Teacher for the
Middle Syndicate. Of South African decent, she has been in NZ for a number
of years and is now a NZ citizen. Trish is also in charge of the Art in
She lives in Whangarei, and has two teenage sons.
Cathy is the co-ordinator for the Special Needs Unit. She organises the
workload for 10 teacher aids, as well as this she also takes some children
for Bannatyne lessons. Cathy has been with the school for nearly 5 years,
and was previously employed by Special Education Services in Whangarei.
Cathy ‘s husband Brett is the Manager of the Dargaville High School
1st IV rugby team, so Cathy spends a lot of time helping Brett organise
travel, trainings etc associated with this. In her spare time ( which
there isn’t much of) she loves to spend time with her family and

JUNIOR YOUTH GROUP
Friday 20th June Junior Youth Group. Gym Nite—Meet at the Baptist
Church 7.15pm. Cost $2.
MOBILE EAR CLINIC
The clinic will be outside Woolworth's on the 16th June from 9.00am to
3.30pm. No appointment necessary just call in for all glue ear assessments,
treatment of discharging ears, grommet checks, wax and foreign body removal.
13 & 14 June at the Ruawai Memorial Hall from 9am to 5 pm.
A small cover charge of $2.
Ruawai Country X-Stitchers are having an expo this weekend. You will be
able to purchase cross stitch patterns, kitsets, leaflets and needlework
