PINOCCHIO
On Wednesday 14th May, David Poulton’s Theatre of Puppets is presenting the show “Pinocchio” at the school. The middle and junior syndicate children will attend at 9.15am and the senior syndicate at 11.00am. The cost of the show is $2.50 per child. Please send this to school as soon as possible.

BIBLE
An outline of the “Bible in Schools” program was sent home with all children yesterday. If you want your child to attend these lessons you must complete the form at the bottom of the letter and return it to their teacher. If we do not have this form returned then your children will continue with normal class activities.

DPS T-SHIRTS
A reminder to return all school t-shirts used at the Triathlon to the school office.

SCHOOL PHOTOS
These are being done on Thursday 22nd May. All children have been given their order forms, please ensure each child has their own envelope and money returned to the school office by Monday 19th May. The correct amount of money must be in the envelope as NO change will be given. (The school will not be checking envelopes these are opened on the day by the photographer.) NOTE: We will not be taking any family portraits, only photos of children currently attending the school.

DENTAL CLINIC
Children need plenty of water to drink to keep their bodies working. They need to drink more when they are active and when it’s hot.

LOST PROPERTY
There is a huge amount of lost property at the school, all parents please come and have a look through the items.

KAIPARA PALLIATIVE CARE
Have a great night out and help hospice “Fill the Gap” at the Dargaville Town Hall on Thursday 8th May. Paul Fletcher and his friends presents songs and music, doors open at 6.30pm and admission is $5.00 per seat. No bookings.

DARGAVILLE HIGH SCHOOL
Open Day on Tuesday 13th May 2003, 9.30am to 2.30pm. Open to parents, past students, prospective students and members of the public.
Guided tours start from the flagpole at the end of the main driveway every ¼ hour from 9.30am

BIG RIVER FM
Big River Fm would like Dargaville Primary School children to write a verse or short story as to why their MUM is special. Big River will read the best over air each day, these will go into a draw and we’ll pick 3 winners on Friday morning. There are 3 bouquets from Gloria’s to be won to give to “YOUR MUM”. FISH FACTORY YOUTH
Presents “Y1 (Youth for Christ) Concert” on Friday 16th May at the DIS Hall 7pm-9pm, entry is $3.00. On Saturday 17th May at the Town Hall a group of youths “Jireh” will be performing break-dancing and hip-hop. Tickets Single $5.00 and Family $20.00 available at the Information Centre or at the door. Both concerts are popular with families around the country.

MOBILE EAR CLINIC
The clinic will be outside Woolworths on the 19th May from 9.00am to 3.30pm. No appointment necessary just call in for all glue ear assessments, treatment of discharging ears, grommet checks, wax and foreign body removal.
