Church, Victoria St. Cost $2.50. Fun games, stories, songs, craft and
light dinner. Come and join the fun if you are 5-9yrs old. Our last week.
Contact Grant or Pauline Taylor 439 7507.
MOBILE EAR CLINIC
The clinic will be outside Woolworths on Monday 1st August from 9.00am
to 3.00pm. For all children, especially pre-schoolers. No appointment
necessary just call in for all glue ear assessments, treatment of discharging
ears, grommet checks, wax and foreign body removal.
NW SOCCER
Junior soccer is on during the holidays. We will be running a ‘casual’
pick teams on the day round robin series during the holidays. The 9-12yr
olds competition will start again 30th July. Round one ended last Saturday,
the Stingrays are at the top of the table closely followed by the Titanz
with the Kiwi Rockets in third. There is only a spread of three points
between third and last so round 2 will be a close exciting round. Make
sure you come along and support your team. The 4, 5 and 6yr olds have
tremendous fun each Saturday with their own ’little’ games,
and the 7 and 8yr olds are just itching to start their competition next
term. With so many children wanting organised games and competitions parent
help is essential so if you can help in anyway just step up and see someone
who is already helping and offer your assistance. To all those parents
already helping a great big thank you from the club.
TELECOM SCHOOL CONNECTION
Your support for this over the years has seen a massive $39,200 come the
school’s way. We have used this to set up our networking system,
allowing use of computers in all of our classrooms. We have also used
this to purchase new computers and other IT equipment. Forms are available
from the office and we are asking that you pass these on to your extended
families, ie, grandparents, aunts, uncles even your neighbours.
