TE REO
Ko wai tena? Who is that?
Ko toku whaea. My mother.

DENTAL CLINIC
Please return dental forms as soon as possible. Thanks. Healthy gums don’t bleed. Gently brush with a soft tooth brush, especially where the teeth and gums meet. It is a good idea for a parent to help out with toothbrushing as it is not until children are 9 years old that they are capable of doing a proper job.

BIBLE
Bible on Thursday from 12—12.30pm fin the school hall for children in the middle syndicate.

OTHER NEWS AND EVENTS.

KIDS CLUB
Held at the Dargaville Baptist Community Church, Victoria St, from 4pm till 7pm. Cost $2.50. Fun games, stories, songs, craft and light dinner. Craft are a Longliner, Cessna and a wall hanging. Come and join the fun if you are 5-9yrs old. Contact Grant or Pauline Taylor 4397507.

ILLNESSES
There have been a lot of respiratory illnesses circulating the community over the last few weeks. One of the main illnesses circulating seems to be influenza B. To limit the spread of the illness keep sick children at home. They should not return until they have been better for at least 24 hours. Make sure hands are washed and dried well after sneezing, wiping or blowing the nose; going to the toilet; and before eating and preparing food. Keep coughs and sneezes covered with a tissue.
Most school aged children recover in 5 to 7 days. It is important, however, that parents and caregivers also watch out for signs that their child may have developed a bacterial infection or another serious illness.
