the year. Apologies from John for the incorrect spelling of Alex’s
surname in a previous newsletter that went home with children in Room

Ko wai to ingoa? What is your name?
Ko Mary taku ingoa. My name is Mary.
The PTA are selling sausages with bread and sauce for $1 each every Friday
at lunchtimes in Terms 2 and 3. Children are to give money to their teacher
on Friday mornings.
This term the whole school will be studying “Electricity”
we would like any old Christmas lights even if they don’t work so
we can dismantle them. Thanks for your help.
On the 29th May we are running the “Ambrose Golf Tournament”
which will be our major fundraiser for the year and we need your help
to make it a successful and fun day. All money raised will go towards
school equipment to benefit our children. Donations towards spot prizes
or quickfire raffles would be greatly appreciated. This could be things
such as meat, money, cakes, produces, wine or unwanted gifts etc.

At the next PTA meeting on the 17th May there will be a presentation on
Student Achievement Data for reading. To see how our school is performing
come along to the meeting.
If you have any concerns regarding your children, we would like to hear
from you. First point of call is the child’s classroom teacher.

FITNESS & PE
The whole school is participating in a PE and fitness programme called
“Jump Jam”. All children are expected to participate in this
unless they have a note from home or a doctors certificate. Children are
required to wear shorts and t-shirts during fitness and can put warm clothes
on before returning to their classes.
Bible on Thursday from 12—12.30pm fin the school hall for children
in the middle syndicate.
