DESTITUTE GOURMET CLASS
The Arapohue School PTA has been very lucky in securing the Destitute Gourmet Event to be held at the Arapohue Hall on Thursday 21st April, start time 7pm.
What happens in a Destitute Gourmet Class?
Sophie spends about 25-30mins explaining the “Philosophy” of destitute gourmet and how to save money at the supermarket. After this, cooking starts; there are normally around 4-5 main courses, 2 desserts and side dishes. Participants will sample the dishes as they are cooked. All participants will receive a recipe booklet with the foundation recipes used in the class. The event takes around 3½ hours with the preparation of dishes that you can make at home. The last time this event was in Dargaville it was a sell-out crowd. Secure your ticket now! Phone Sue McCully 439 7429 for your booking. Tickets are limited to 50. Cost of tickets is $20 and feedback from people is that it is a very worthwhile event.
