The AGM was held last night the positions have remained the same with one addition.

A reminder to all students, parents and caregivers that after the Easter break school will resume on Wednesday 30th March.

SCHOOL FEES
School fees are $35 per child for the year. This helps towards your child’s extra educational needs which are not covered by ministry funding. The fee is due by 31st March 2005 this is tax deductible.

SCHOOL PHOTOS
School photos are being taken by “Sharron Booth,” a photographer from Whangarei. Class photos will be taken as a whole class group. The photos come laminated and named. Individual photos of children can also be taken for $10, you receive 2 identical 15x10cm prints. No family or group photos will be taken. If you have more than one child at the school please fill out a separate form for each child. Payment needs to be returned with your form and has to be back at school by 13th April. Please make cheques payable to Sharron Booth.

SCHOOL PHONE
Use of the school phone is for emergencies only. It is not available for phoning home for forgotten things eg. homework, togs, musical instruments or to arrange playing at a friends house after school.

ABSENT CHILDREN
It is the parents/caregivers responsibility to contact the school if your child or children are absent from school. Phone 439 7255

MEDICINES
If your child needs medication at school please bring to the office and also update any medicines that may need replacing.

KAIPARA COMMUNITY HEALTH TRUST
The Trust have kindly donated hats to the school for all students. These hats have been handed out to the children and must be kept at school.

LUCKY BOOKS
Lucky book orders close on 1st April, 2005.

NW JMB RUGBY
All children who wish to play Saturday Rugby this season are required to weigh-in tomorrow (Thursday). All interested children are to go to the school hall immediately after eating their lunch. Any inquiries phone John Powell 021 439555 or a/h 439 6256.

KAIPARA COMMUNITY EXPO
24th March 2005 at The Dargaville Town Hall 10am—6pm, admission free. Do you ever wonder what services are available in the Kaipara, this expo will give you the opportunity to find out. Some of the agencies attending are:
IRD, Linking Hands, Arthritis Educator, Health Advocate Trust, Northland Health, Northland Disabilities Resource Centre, Caring Caller, Kaipara Abuse Prevention, Tenancy Services, Te Puni Kokiri, Career Services, Barnados, CAB, Work and Income, Maori Land Court, Return Services Association and many more. ANNUAL MONSTER CAR BOOT SALE AND AUCTION
Your trash may be someone else’s treasure!
Easter Saturday 26th March 2005 at the Tangiteroria Hall Sports Complex.
10am Car Boot Sale and 12.30pm Auction. Any goods considered but no livestock. You keep the proceeds of your sale but there is a charge of $2 per boot load.
Goods can be sold “garage sale style” or auctioned. Goods not sold can be auctioned at no extra charge at the end of the day so you have a choice.
Visit Sarah’s Café for morning and afternoon tea, hot chips and sausages.
Bar will be open. Proceeds from sale entry fee and refreshments to Tangiteroria School and Hall.
EXTRA, EXTRA, EXTRA
Expressions of interest are invited for a monster machinery auction to run in conjunction with the above. You keep the proceeds and the commission charged goes to Tangiteroria School.

GIRLS BRIGADE
Girls can do everything with Girls Brigade. We offer a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities and a chance to develop new skills. Learn about what it means to live a balanced life, grow and discover your potential. Not to mention meeting new friends and having a whole lot of fun in the process. www.girlsbrigade.org.nz Weekly programmes are held at the Dargaville Baptist Community Church from 3—5pm Thursday afternoons. Ages from 5-15yrs. Our programmes cover a selection of physical, social, educational and spiritual activities that link in with our motto to seek, serve and follow Christ.
