DO YOU KNOW A CLEVER ANIMAL?
Have you ever seen a smart animal? The Royal New Zealand SPCA and smarter
than Jack are seeking true stories of clever animals for a children’s
edition in this best selling book series. To date, this popular series
has raised over $200,000 to help animals. We’d love to know about
your true story. Please tell us in no more than 250 words. Illustrations
are welcome. It can involve any type of animal and any situation. Stories
can be authored by an adult or child, but we recommend stories written
by children are supervised for factual accuracy as they must be true.
The deadline is February 18, 2005. Submit stories online at www.smarterthanjack.com
or post to Smarter than Jack story submissions, P O Box 27003, Wellington.
Please make sure you include your schools name and contact details as
well as your own.
HOW TO DRAW REALLY WELL

gain increased confidence and will create a drawing to be proud of. Cost
is $3 per child, only children who pay will go, money to be given to the
class teacher.
