DPS NEWS.
PTA NEWS
Next meeting on the 17th November, 7.30 in the staffroom. This will be
our last meeting of the year. Everyone is welcome and we will have a social
coffee afterwards.
Friday 19th November: The PTA will be holding a one of sausage sizzle
and also selling juices at lunchtime. Both selling for $1 each. Sausage
money to be given to the teacher in the morning and juicie money taken
in the hall at lunchtime.
DPS ATHLETICS
This will be held at the Dargaville High School on 22nd November. All
middle and senior syndicate children will be going. Please ensure your
child has plenty of drink, food and a sunhat.
The PTA will be selling water, juice, popcorn and cookies up at the High
School all at $1 per item. As there is only a limited supply it will be
first in first served.
NW ATHLETICS
A letter will be sent home after DPS Athletics for those children who
qualify to go to NW Athletics in Ruawai on Tuesday 30th November. (only
children aged 8 and over as at 1st January 2004 will be competing)

SCHOOL STATIONERY
2005
Class stationery lists for 2005 will be sent home at the end of this term.
We will not be stocking a lot of the stationery required for next year
at the school, only what is specified on the lists. Please Note: The A4
books are specialised books with 8mm ruling and are difficult to obtain
through stationery outlets. We have secured these books at a good price.
If you have any queries on certain books please ask the teacher or at
the office.
BIBLE
Bible on Thursday from 12 —12.30pm in the school hall for the Junior
Syndicate.
DENTAL CLINIC
Read the labels on products before buying them. Remember, sugar has lots
of names eg. Honey, glucose, sucrose, fructose, dextrin, dextrose, caramel,
syrup, maltose, molasses, monosaccharide, disaccharide, brown sugar. All
of these lead to tooth decay so watch out.

TALENT QUEST
Finals will be on Friday 19th November, 6.30pm in the school hall. Entry
is gold coin koha.
LIBRARY
Lucky book orders close 26th November. All library books must be returned
to school on Monday 22 November for stock-take.
OTHER NEWS AND EVENTS.
FISH FACTORY JUNIOR YOUTH
Friday 19th November, 7.15pm. Face to Face night, meet at the Dargaville
Baptist Community Church. Costs $2 per family.
