WILD HAIR DAY
We had a great response for our Wild Hair Day on the 22nd October. Many children came to school with some awesome wacky hair styles not to mention the staff. We raised $335.80 for “Save the Children”.
DENTAL CLINIC
People sometimes think it’s not important to look after a child’s first teeth because they will be replaced. There are several reasons why first teeth need to be looked after and decay free. Children need healthy teeth to eat, smile and speak correctly. If there is no tooth decay there is no need for fillings. Even though they can’t be seen, the second teeth are developing in the gums when a child is very young. Healthy first teeth hold the spaces for second teeth. This helps avoid the second teeth being crooked and need braces.
Anne & Sarah.

HOW BIZARRE!
A young boy at the school was playing in the playground and unfortunately his reading glasses got broken. His mother took the glasses to be repaired and was told that the glasses were not her sons but an adults. Someday somehow the boys glasses have got mixed up with another persons which are very alike in looks, so if you happen to have glasses that don’t appear to be as strong as they once were please phone the office.
