DPS NEWS.
PTA NEWS
Next meeting 16th November, 7.30pm. On show day we will be holding a cake
stall, selling food in the hall at lunchtime and a $100 note raffle will
be going around. Cake boxes will be sent home closer to the time and we
are asking that each family bake a cake and bring it in to the school
hall on the morning of showday. Please do not send in bought cakes but
cash donations will be greatly accepted.
BIBLE
Bible on Thursday from 12 —12.30pm in the school hall for the Senior
Syndicate.
DENTAL CLINIC
Spotting the marks of decay. Lifting the lip can do this, it’s quick
and easy and doesn't hurt your child. Lift the child’s top lip so
you can see all the front teeth. If you see white or stained marks on
any of the teeth, the child should come to see us at the Dental Clinic
as soom as possible. Anne & Sarah.
FUN WITH TE REO
Whanau Support Group Meeting 11th November 3.30pm in the staffroom. Shannon
Price will be visiting from Te Ha, all families welcome.
SHOWDAY
ILLUSION SHOW
On tomorrow Thursday 21 October, The Magic Company will be delivering
a fantastic Illusion Show for all students. This show will cost $1. Children
to give the money to their teacher. The show will begin at 9.00am.
WILD HAIR DAY
Friday 22nd October. This national event has been organised for “Save
the Children” fundraiser. The concept is simple and everyone is
encouraged to wear wacky hair styles for a day in exchange for a gold
coin that will brighten the lives of the less fortunate children, in some
of the world’s poorest countries.

Lucky book orders close 26th October.
MARAE VISIT
Thank you to ALL parents that assisted yesterday! The Junior and Middle
syndicate had a full and highly successful day of learning at the Marae.
Special thanks to Anaru Tau, Wayne Stringer and the McCullough Whanau.
