Thank you to all the people who have already kindly donated goods for
the garage sale. There’s only 3 more days till the SALE. We are
still short of goods. If you or your families have any unwanted items
gathering dust in a box somewhere, please send them to school by Friday
morning.
BIBLE
Bible on Thursday from 12 —12.30pm in the school hall for the Junior
Syndicate.
SHOWDAY
All showday trophies need to be returned to the school as soon as possible
along with entry forms for calves, lambs and goats.
CROSS COUNTRY
Our Cross Country race will be held on Monday 6th September, for middle
and Senior children. There will be an early lunch from 12 noon to 12.50.
Races start at 1pm with the order being 7year girls—boys
8 year girls—boys
9 year girls—boys
10 year girls—boys.
We need some help from parents/caregivers to stand on corner streets.
Please phone the office if you can help.
Junior children will have their own special day, the date will be advised
later.
DENTAL CLINIC
Choose a soft tooth brush with a small head and always use fluoride toothpaste.
Brush thoroughly twice a day for two minutes, brush all the surfaces of
your teeth. Change your toothbrush every three months otherwise your old
brush is not as effective at removing plaque.

LOST PROPERTY
There’s a mountain of clothes and shoes. Some of this must be yours—come
in and check it out before it goes to the garage sale.
JUMP ROPE
The school is currently in training for Jump Rope for Heart. On the jump
off day all children will get an opportunity to show off their skills.
Each child who participates will receive a certificate from the heart
foundation. So keep an eye out for the Donation envelope coming to your
house soon.
MINI OLYMPICS
Friday 10th (weather permitting) the whole school will be participating
in a “Mini Olympics” day.
There will be 32 different countries participating in fun activities,
Also included in these activities will be jump rope activities as part
of our jump off. Children will be told their countries later this week,
and if they wish, they may come dressed in the colours of their country.
So come along and support your favourite country. We will need some parent
help on the day, if you can help, phone Rosie/Louise in the office.
Sausages will be on sale. Pre-orders for sausages will need to come to
school on the Friday morning with your children.
