The annual garage sale will be happening towards the end of next term.
If you come across any unwanted items please put them aside for our garage
Today was the last day for pizza orders to be in. Delivery will be on
Wednesday June 30th and orders can be collected from the hall after 12noon.
If you have a sheep to donate or one the PTA could buy for sausages please
phone the office.
All library books are to be returned by Monday 28th June.
FUN WITH TE REO
Whanau support group meeting 24th June 3.30.pm in the DPS Staffroom. All

charge. Published by Te Puni Kôkiri, this publication titled “Kei
Roto I te Whare” is available at the office.
WINTER SPORTS CHALLENGE
The sports day to be held at the High School has been cancelled due to
the wet weather.

Bible on Thursday from 12 —12.30pm in the school hall for the Senior
Please ensure your child brings a change of PE gear as shorts and appropriate
foot wear are required.
There has been stationery and a bag taken from desks in Room 16, it includes
5 pencil cases and a green bag with presents in it. If you know anything
about this please report to the office.
ROOMS 5 & 18
The school trip to the Kiwi house will now be on Wednesday June 30th.
Forms have been sent home with the children in regards to this.
NOTES FROM BOT MEETING
Minutes of meetings will be put on the website along with the agenda
for parents to view. Minutes are available at office to view. PTA meetings
are a good way to keep informed of what’s happening in our school
and parents are welcome to attend both PTA and BOT meetings. However,
if you attend a BOT Meeting, you are not granted speaking rights unless
prior arrangements are made with the Chairperson – Penny Smart.
Travel Policy amended to read: Every child must be restrained by their
own diagonal seat belt or diagonal lap-belt in a seat without airbags.
Propery upgrades for Junior Toilets for Rooms 8 & 9, covered walkways
for Rooms 16,17,18. Upgrade and possible re-location for Senior Adventure
PTA have purchased sound system for use in Room 9.
OTHER NEWS AND EVENTS.
“National Tupperware Day” is on Saturday 26th June. A party
is being held at the Dargaville Intermediate School Staffroom from 10am
till approx 12pm. Bring a friend, all welcome. Percentage of sales will
go towards providing scald packs to Primary
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
VBS will be running in the first week of the school holidays, July 5th—9th
at the Dargaville Primary School Hall. Admission is free and children
aged 6 and over are welcome. There will be hobbies, activities, stories
and music. Parents are welcome to sit in. The hours are from 9am—12noon
daily with registration beginning at 8.45am.

HARDCORE DANCE COMPANY
One show only held at Dargaville High School on Sunday 27th June at 1pm.
Door sales only, adults $5 and children 15yrs and younger $3.
FOR ALL SYNDICATES
This Friday 25th June cookies are available for all syndicates to buy
Orders are to be taken in the morning with the sausage orders and bought
to the office where the cookies will be handed out.
