Please have your pizza orders back no later than Wednesday 23rd June.
All orders big or small will contribute. Delivery will be on Wednesday
June 30th and can be collected from the hall after 12noon.
The PTA are wanting donations of meat for sausages to be made, please
phone the office if you are able to help.
LIBRARY
Thanks to Sharon Stainton, Penny Smart, Stacey Hansen and Karen Frood
for covering books. Lucky books, issue 4 closes on 17th June.
BIBLE
Bible on Thursday from 12 —12.30pm in the school hall for the Middle
Syndicate.

FUN WITH TE REO
This afternoon I walked home from school. I tenei ahiahi i hoki ma raro
au ki te kainga.
Are you interested in learning more Maori phrases for use at home with
the family? We have a fantastic resource booklet available to you at no
charge. Published by Te Puni Kôkiri, this publication titled “Kei
Roto I te Whare” is available at the office.
MATHS COMPETITION
Several senior syndicate children participated in a Maths Competition
last week at the High School. Congratulations to Jenny Monigatti, Manuhou
Fowlie, Chris Bell and Kia Kokiri who got second place.
WINTER SPORT CHALLENGE DAY
On Thursday 17th June from 10am to 2pm the senior syndicate children are
participating in a sports day at the High School, postponement day is
Tuesday 22nd June. Please ensure your child takes warm clothing as it
gets very cold whilst sitting around between games at the High School
field. Parents are welcome to go along and watch.

SENIOR SYNDICATE
Please ensure your child brings a change of PE gear as shorts and appropriate
foot wear are required.
TELECOM
A Telecom School Connection registration form has been sent home with
your child. All you have to do is nominate our school and when you make
any National or International calls with Telecom they will donate a percentage
of it to our school. This does not cost you any extra on your account.
Sponsors don’t have to be restricted to your family, you can have
anyone, friends, neighbours, grandparents any one in New Zealand who has
a residential telecom phone line. Your sponsorship will be put towards
our computer network and upgrade our equipment which is not covered in
our annual budget. Please return the completed form to the school office.

TRIVIA PURSUIT EVENING
Dargaville Kindergarten’s major fundraiser for 2004 is a Trivia
Pursuit evening to be held at the Lighthouse Function Centre on Friday
25th June. Six people per team and $60 per team. Entries close 18th June.

TUPPERWARE
What’s cooking with Tupperware. Be inspired see the latest products
from Tupperware while we create sweet delights at our interactive decadent
cooking display. Pick up tips, techniques, along with some fabulous but
simple recipes. You will also hear about the career opportunities with
Tupperware. Wednesday 16th June, 7.30pm—9.30pm at The Lighthouse.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
VBS will be running in the first week of the school holidays, July 5th—9th
at the Dargaville Primary School Hall. Admission is free and children
aged 6 and over are welcome. There will be hobbies, activities, stories
and music. Parents are welcome to sit in. The hours are from 9am—12noon
daily with registration beginning at 8.45am.

This Friday 18th June cookies are available for the Senior Syndicate to
buy at $1.00
Orders are to be taken in the morning with the sausage orders and bought
